PUBLIC WORKS:
Student Operator (Up to three positions subject to approval of grant funding)

Duties/Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Maintaining public properties including green spaces
- Street/road/walking trail enhancements, riverbank/stream debris cleanup
- Assist with other municipal duties as required including Community Events
- Reports to the Public Works Supervisor

Qualifications:
- Ability to operate/maintain a tractor, equipment, power tools and computer skills are an asset
- Willing to work flexible hours including some weekends

Term/Pay/Benefits:
- Up to 45 hours per week for 8-15 weeks during May-August
- Minimum wage plus increment based on experience and qualifications
- Benefits subject to qualification waiting period

RECREATION:
Summer Recreation Program Leaders (Up to two positions subject to approval of grant funding)

Duties/Responsibilities including but not limited to:
-Organize and Facilitate Recreation Programs for community members of Cartwright-Roblin
-Work with Children and Youth and engage them in activities
-Minor playground/parks repairs & maintenance
-Public Education i.e. bike safety, environmental impact, etc.
- Assist with other municipal duties as required including Community Event

Qualifications:
-Ability to work with the public, seniors, youth, & children
-Organized and self-motivated
-Responsible
-Must have Child Abuse Registration & Criminal Record Check (CRM will reimburse costs for successful candidates)
-Office and Computer Skills are an asset
-Willing to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekend

Term/Pay/ Benefits:
-June 22-August 31, 2020
-Between 35-40 hours for 10 weeks
-Minimum wage plus increment based on experience and qualifications
- Benefits subject to qualification waiting period
